Gizmo, a Maltese, was one of five dogs seized in Groton as a cruelty case back in 2011. He required surgery and had to have almost all of his teeth pulled. His fur was horribly matted and needed to be shaved. The Groton Animal Foundation received many donations to help defray the cost of his care and paid for everything else not covered. And now, through the generosity of Jo-Anne Lewis, Gizmo is paying it forward so that other animals in need, get the medical attention they deserve. Gizmo now resides with Paul and Carol Shinn of Groton who adore him.
