On Thursday, December 22, 2022, we received a special donation from the kind and generous staff of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group Podiatry Groton - office of Darren J. Courtright and Sonya L. Marshall. Donations were collected from providers and office staff, and presented by office dog Sadie to those less fortunate animals. Sadie had help from her human, Renee. We are … [Read more...]

A wish list for the shelter

We've recently been asked by a number of very generous people about a wish list for animals at the shelter. We do, of course, have an Amazon Wish list that you can always refer to when considering a donation. We are extremely fortunate to have received a large donation of dry dog food from Pet Value in Groton, so we'd like to thank them for their generosity and their exemplary … [Read more...]

Give Luck to the Animals that are Stuck

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all of our donors. As the Animal Control Officer I am on the front lines and see how each and every donation no matter how big or small helps to improve the lives of all the animals that come through the Groton Animal Control Facility. I can’t express in words my gratitude for people like you who truly makes a difference in an animal’s life at the local level.

I make and sell jewelry on a small scale, part time basis. Knowing it is the kitten season, I decided to donate 100% of my June proceeds to animals in need. It isn’t much but I help it helps! Thank you for all you do
